Love will find its way...
I was going thru iland and came across this blog from Tania and how confusing it is when one'sn college... She's got frens who r committed and like any other frens' they are wanting her to get into a relationship real quickie... Just replied to her and thot let me paste the same here.. so that all bloggers can have a look... Here it goes : --------------------------------------------------------- Hi Tania.. ur blog reminds me of this crush I had in school.. this guy almost fresh out of college.. n I did tell him abt my feelings.. But I consider myselfso lucky that I had a chance to meet a guy like him.. so simple.. so decent... I can say that he's the most wonderful person I've ever met in my life. When I told him of my feelings I still remember how delicately he handled the situation... he told me that neena.. its an impressionable age that ur in.. at this its very easy to get pleased and even easier to get hurt and believe me I dnt want to hurt you.... Overall... he made me realise that It was a crush and it happens.. even he had too.... So the same I'd like to tell u.... Please dnt fall into any relationship very fast.. coz even faster u'll fall out too.... just enjoy these wonderful yrs of ur life... n One fine day that special someone will walk into ur life to be thr with u forever... Take care Neena

Thanks for your time
It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls, career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.
Over the phone, his mother told him, "Mr. Belser died last night. The funeral is Wednesday." Memories flashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.
"Jack, did you hear me?"
"Oh, sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It's been so long since I thought of him.. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago," Jack said.
"Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were doing.. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of the fence' as he put it," Mom told him.
"I loved that old house he lived in," Jack said.
"You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr Belser stepped in to make sure you had a man's influence in your life," she said
"He's the one who taught me carpentry," he said. "I wouldn't be in this business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me things he thought were important...Mom, I'll be there for the funeral," Jack said.
As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his hometown. Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventful. He had no children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.
The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to see the old house next door one more time.
Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment. It was like crossing over into another dimension, a leap through space and time. The house was exactly as he remembered. Every step held memories. Every picture, every piece of furniture....Jack stopped suddenly.
"What's wrong, Jack?" his Mom asked.
"The box is gone," he said
"What box?" Mom asked.
"There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he'd ever tell me was 'the thing I value most,'" Jack said.
It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had taken it.
"Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him," Jack said. "I better get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom."
It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died. Returning home from work one day Jack discovered a note in his mailbox. "Signature required on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the main post office within the next three days," the note read.
Early the next day Jack retrieved the package. The small box was old and looked like it had been mailed a hundred years ago. The handwriting was difficult to read, but the return address caught his attention. "Mr. Harold Belser" it read. Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There inside was the gold box and an envelope. Jack's hands shook as he read the note inside.
"Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett. It's the thing I valued most in my life." A small key was taped to the letter. His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes, Jack carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch.
Running his fingers slowly over the finely etched casing, he unlatched the cover. Inside he found these words engraved:
"Jack, Thanks for your time! -Harold Belser."
"The thing he valued most...was...my time"
Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his office and cleared his appointments for the next two days. "Why?" Janet, his assistant asked. "I need some time to spend with my son," he said.
"Oh, by the way, Janet...thanks for your time!"
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away,"
Guys you may not realize it, but it's 100% true.
1. At least 2 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3 A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
4 Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
5. You mean the world to someone.
6. If not for you, someone may not be living.
7. You are special and unique.
8. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you trust God to do what's best, and wait on His time, sooner or later, you will get it or something better.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good can still come from it.
10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.
11. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
12. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.
13.. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know and you'll both be happy.
14. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.
To everyone who's touched my life in one way or the other : "Thanks for your time"

Miss you ma...
My chweetest Ma... I miss you...!!! ----------------------------------------
God is a genius for having thought of everything while creating her ! What makes Mum amazing..................... read on : Mums have a kiss that can cure a child from anything, be it a scraped knee or a broken heart.
Mum already heals herself when she is sick AND can work 18 hours a day.
Mum's are soft from outside but inside she's tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish.
Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason and negotiate.
The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love, her loneliness, her grief and her pride.
Mums bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy.
Mums : smile when they want to scream. sing when they want to cry. cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous. fight for what they believe in. stand up to injustice.
Mums : don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a better solution. go without, so their family can have. go to the doctor with a frightened child.
Mums : love unconditionally. cry when their children, excel and cheer when the kids get awards. are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding. grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left. know that a hug can help to heal a broken heart.
Mums : will drive, fly, walk or run to show how much they care about you. make the world keep turning! bring joy and hope. give moral support to their family. have vital things to say and everything to give.
However, if there is one flaw in mums, it is that they tend to forget their own worth.

What does it cost to have a Celebration...
What does it cost to have a Celebration .... A winter evening. Four friends. One barsaat. Four glasses of chai.
Hundred bucks of gas. A rusty old bike. And an open road.
Maggi noodles. A hostel room. 4.25 a.m.
3 old friends. 3 separate cities. 3 coffee mugs. 1 internet messenger.
Rain on a hot tin roof. Pakoras deep-frying Friends dropping in. A party.
You and mom. A summer night. A bottle of coconut oil. A head massage.
You can spend hundreds on birthdays, thousands on festivals, lakhs on weddings, but to celebrate all you have to spend is your Time.

Quotes about India
We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made. Albert Einstein.
India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend and the great grand mother of tradition. Mark Twain.
If there is one place on the face of earth where all dreams of living men have found a home from the very earliest days when man began the dream of existence, it is India French scholar Romain Rolland.
India conquered and dominated China culturally for 20 centuries without ever having to send a single soldier across her border. Hu Shih (former Chinese ambassador to USA )
ALL OF THE ABOVE IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG, THE LIST COULD BE ENDLESS. BUT, if we don't see even a glimpse of that great India in the India that we see today, it clearly means that we are not working up to our potential; and that if we do, we could once again be an evershining and inspiring country setting a bright path for rest of the world to follow. I hope you enjoyed it and work towards the welfare of INDIA .
Say proudly, I AM AN INDIAN.

The Wonder Years : Buster The Dog
Excerpt from one of the episodes of my Favourite Emmy-winning series : THE WONDER YEARS. The last paragraph is awesome. -----------------------------
"When he was little...he was...cute. Everyone wanted to cuddle him. He was the perfect puppy. Then something happened. Buster...grew up. Suddenly he wasn't so cute. And just as suddenly....the family dog...had become...my dog."
Buster came to the Arnold house by way of Kevin's paternal grandfather. As Buster grew older the Arnold family didn't pay much attention to him until Buster's incessant barking disrupted the family's sleep pattern. And so, the family decided to get Buster "fixed." The night before Buster was to go to Dr. Ferlinger (Cristine Rose) the veterinarian, he ran away from Kevin while on a walk. Suddenly, the family's latent love for the dog resurfaced and they frantically tried to find him. When Buster found them, the family was happy and the next morning, they all took Buster to the vet.
Again the elderly Kevin in his voice-over concluded:
"And in a way, I guess you could say Buster's loss...was also his gain. He'd been this little stranger, who turned out to be part of our family. A venerable member of the alliance. One for all, and all for one. And over the years, through good times and bad...through seasons of hope and change, he stood by us all. A silent partner. The first one to greet me at the door...when I came home from my senior prom. The one who stared out our front window, on the day I left for college. And my mom said he stayed there for hours."
